Orange sponsored a masterclass with Mike Leigh, followed by their awards for new independent short films.

The National Film Theatre in London was selected as the location where Root created the interior environment for the event and subsequent aftershow party.

The solution was based on clips and stills and the working scripts from the films being honoured and discussed. By moving from wall panels to backlit screens to projections the design generated a dynamic that helped draw the audience progressively into the excitement of the event.
