GamesCom - Brink

Brink is a game set in the near future where a utopian island is surrounded by a rusting container crates. Based on this visual, we developed a 'container city' complete with windows, scavenged lighting, and recycled debris. This gave the outside of the stand a lived in quality and created a strong sense of intrigue.

Entering the stand the containers opened out to form a walkway. Immediately walking along the gangway, the consumer was surrounded by a infinity pool specially designed to create the illusion that the inside was floating on water.

At either side of the central platform we designed and created two projection walls. These walls used realistic, bespoke 3D renders to give the consumer a sense of standing in the middle of an ocean. The projections were also designed to overlap the infinity pools to form a seamless link between the stand and the fictional environment of the game.

From the centre of the stand ran several walkways, each leading to a different room containing an experience unique to the game that was being demonstrated. Here we created the Wet Room - holding an immersive, bespoke 360 projection.
